Video Game Violence Video game violence has been a long going controversy. Video games have not been around all that long, â€Å"first introduced in the 1970s† (Cesarone, Feb. ‘95), and started out as being centered towards the Children. Well anybody that has grown up with games are now older and more mature and demand more from their gaming experience, and so the creation of new types and styles of games have evolved to suit them. I have grown up with games, and am at the age where ‘kids games’ just don’t do it for me anymore. The games that I thought were enjoyable when I was a kid are now very boring. I need a more complex game with many variables to consider, and I am mature enough to handle violence, and what is more complex†¦show more content†¦Playing these games constantly can cause children to â€Å"feel restless, aggressive, and combative† (Bopp, 1999, pg. 31) sense that is what these games are based on, and centered around; keeping the player on the edge, being aggressive to win, and competing against the artificial intelligence or even other players. In some violent video games the kids gets to blow things up, kill things, and basically do whatever he or she wants without any real reason or purpose. This can lead to them being desensitized when they see these things in real life, or on the news. â€Å"These games tend to be ‘action packed’ and can lead to short attention spans sense the kids are used to so much action, and many things going on all at once† (Bopp, 1999 pg.31). Some of these violent games use very real looking weapons so â€Å"whenever these children are exposed to a real gun, they still think it is a fake gun and start to play and sometimes somebody gets hurt or is even killed† (Bopp, 1999, pg.31). These games also tend to be very addictive and can lead to children playing all day long and sometimes even forgetting to do their homework, and/or not being active in s ports or other forms of physical activity. For years, there have always been talks about should college athletes be paid. That conversation stirs up a huge argument it never fails. College sports such as Football, Basketball, and baseball bring in massive amounts of revenues to the university, but the players are not allowed to get a portion. Division I football players say they spend over 40 hours a week practicing or playing their sport, and fewer than 40 hours on academics. The athletes are working a full-time job when involved in sports. Not being allowed to have a job to have money for extracurricular activities. College athletes put their bodies on the line every day, risking minor injuries or sometimes even career ending injuries. The scholarship covers meal plan, tuition, books, and housing. There are times when t hese athletes are short a few thousand bucks for extra expenses such as gas, personal hygiene, and entertainment. Many of the athletes that are given the scholarships come from low-income families. So they lean towards receiving money from boosters, because not being allowed to get a job. Consequently, user satisfaction is usually given priority by librarian, because it is a concept that has to do with how good users’ feels after visiting and using the library and their likeness to return back to that library when next information is needed by them (Olayemi, Olayemi, and Abolarinwa, 2018). Due to the recognition of the usefulness of public libraries resources and services, it is widely used because of its known ability to meet user’s demands irrespective of their status. Unfortunately, public libraries in developed and developing countries are facing a period of declining in usage as a result of poor funding and wrong perception among its users (Hood and Henderson, 2005). It is regrettable, to note that in Nigeria of today, public libraries including local government and community-owned libraries are not usually well funded and manned by unqualified professionals (Onatola, 2004). The primary interests of the organisation are to ensure profitability and fulfilling the objectives of the stakeholders (Yosifon, 2016). The inclusion of the corporate social responsibility in to the bottom line means that the organisation will use tools for measuring their impact on the society and the corresponding environment. The original post will be copy and paste on the paper to be shown where information came from and be used as reference. Moreover, the though each company will be counting how many each posting were talking on 5 categories then at end the total of posting counts for each company will be given. The secondary analysis, which consist of creation of different themes, which will be used to analyze the different case studies. The findings from each of the case study will be analyzed to link with the objectives of the study so that the existing theories can be validated (Clarke Braun, 2013). The secondary data will also consist of the research papers, journals and peer reviewed journals, which would be analyzed to identify the significance of social media in communicating their corporate social responsibilities (Vaismoradi et al., 2016). The secondary analysis will consist of only one method that is known as mono method. Qualitative analysis of the data will be used to identify the patterns within the data that will provide a different dimension to the study (Han, 2015). However, there are certain limitations to this study, as primary analysis of data is not conducted. The study consists of secondary analysis of data so no sampling methods will be used for the collection of the data. The reliability and validity of the study is important factor as helps to prove that the study is authentic and relevant. The same instruments can be used in multiple studies of similar types is known as the reliability of the data. When the degree of reliability is high in the data then it will provide positive results for the study (Bryman Bell, 2015). When all the research methods in the study are followed according to the planned way then it is called the validity.
